Invest in Girls has a dual purpose–to usher in the next generation of financially literate girls and to introduce them to careers in the world of finance, with a focus on girls of color and girls from low-income communities. With less than 30% of women feeling empowered to take action to change their personal finances and only 10% of senior managers in the finance industry being women of color, it is imperative to start early with young women to ensure they can both take control of their own financial lives and access leadership roles in the finance industry.
