This month, Invest in Girls Student Club leaders from East Greenwich High School chapter in Rhode Island presented at Rhode Island State Treasurer Seth Magaziner’s Economic Empowerment Round Table. Magaziner’s quarterly Round Table invites representatives from government, non-profits, education, businesses, and banking to share ideas on how to promote financial education and empowerment statewide. IIG students Dessa M., Alessandra O., and Mia S. explained how they have implemented the Invest in Girls program at their school and shared ideas on how other students and teachers can adopt the program in their own schools.
In short, the students were brilliant! They received high praise all around for their poise and strong presentation skills. Thank you to Seth Magaziner for giving these students the opportunity to have their voices be heard.
