Internship Application
Spend your summer learning about careers in finance from professionals at a premier investment firm!
Brown Advisory, a leading investment and strategic advisory firm, is partnering with Invest in Girls to offer in-person summer internships to select rising 11th and 12th graders in Boston, New York City, and Baltimore. Throughout this three-week program, students will have the opportunity to learn from Brown Advisory staff and leaders across the firm, shadow individuals, and complete a hands-on project related to investments and current events.
What to expect at the Invest in Girls & Brown Advisory internship:
- Learn about career paths in finance
- Add valuable work experience to your resume
- Learn how to network in a professional setting
- Receive a $650 stipend following the completion of the internship
Dates: July 7-10, 14-17, and 21-24.
Days and Times: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm | Wednesdays: 8:00am – 1:30pm (lunch included)
Paid $650 stipend following the completion of the fellowship
Internship Qualifications
- You must be a current or past participant in an Invest In Girls Program, a past competitor in the National Personal Finance Challenge, or a past competitor in the National Economics Challenge.
- You must be able to work the full three-week program
- You must be a rising 11th or 12th grader
Applications are due by by Friday, May 30, at 11:59 PM ET. Each office will have four positions open for IIG participants. Selected applicants will be notified by June 13. Note: the application for Baltimore students has been extended to Monday, June 9, 2025.
