Internship Application

Spend your summer learning about careers in finance! Brown Advisory, a leading investment and strategic advisory firm, is partnering with Invest in Girls to offer in-person summer internships to select rising 11th and 12th graders in Baltimore, Boston, and New York City. Throughout this three-week program, students will have the opportunity to learn from Brown Advisory staff and leaders across the firm, shadow individuals, and complete a hands-on project related to investments and current events.


What to expect at the Invest in Girls & Brown Advisory internship:

  • Internship schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00-11:00 AM on July 6-9, 13-16, and 20-23
  • Learn about career paths in finance
  • Add valuable work experience to your resume
  • Learn how to network in a professional setting
  • Each office will have multiple positions open for IIG participants.
  • Receive a $625 stipend following the completion of the internship

Internship qualifications:

  • You must be a current or past participant in an Invest In Girls Program, a past competitor in the National Personal Finance Challenge, or a past competitor in the National Economics Challenge.
  • You must be able to work the full three-week program
  • You must be a rising 11th or 12th grader

Priority deadline: Sunday, April 26. Final deadline: Sunday, May 3, at 11:59pm ET. All students will be notified by May 15.
