Simon Griffiths is the head of Distribution for Citizens Bank. The Distribution Network is made up of approximately 7,000 colleagues, 1,200 branches, and 3,200 ATMs in 11 states in the New England, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions.
Simon has held a variety of consumer banking leadership roles over the past 20 years prior to joining Citizens Bank. Most recently, he served as managing director of the branch network at Santander Bank. Prior to Santander, Simon was at JP Morgan Chase, as the national head of branch administration. He also previously worked at Washington Mutual, where he led pricing and product strategy for home equity.
He serves as a member of the Citizens Executive Leadership Group and is the Executive Sponsor for Citizens’ commitment to Invest In Girls.
A native of London, Simon completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, UK and went on to study Law at the York College of Law, York, UK. He currently resides in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, with his wife and two children.
